FR ROB GALEA
Priest / Founder
Fr Rob Galea is older than he looks, smarter than he sounds, and possibly one of the biggest introverts you will ever meet. In spite of this, his purpose will inspire you, his passion will quicken you and his love for Jesus will captivate you. Fr Rob is an evangelist at heart and uses all he has and does to let anyone who would listen know their worth, dignity and purpose in life. Apart from all this honourable stuff, Fr Rob is also a gym junkie and has a dog named Gozo, which he believes is cuter than your dog. Oh, and he has also written a book!

Raised a Catholic in South Australia, Janine is involved in the Sandhurst Diocese largely as a parent of three beautiful children which she claims as her greatest achievement. She has spent the past few years studying media and communications at Australian Catholic University and Co-ordinating youth ministry in the Sandhurst Diocese. In the spare time Danii finds between working with FRG ministry, her graphic design business and working her ‘real’ job, she can be found drinking coffee, walking around Kmart, taking naps, or spending time with her family.

Three years ago she converted to Catholicism after a life-changing event brought her even closer to God through Fr Rob. She is passionate about supporting FRG Ministry to reach out and share the hope, joy & love found in worship. In her second job Carol has been a coordinator of people to support the vulnerable in her community of Shepparton for over 18 years. Her first role was mum to five amazing children who are now all incredible adults. The loves of her life are her gorgeous grandchildren, her handsome husband, and travelling to the Mediterranean.

Born into a family with a great heritage of musical accomplishment and talent, Claudia's passion has always been singing. Her parents, Kitchener and Phyllis — also members of the FRG team — say she was singing songs before she could speak a full sentence. Claudia was raised in a Christian family and says her greatest audience is of 'one' — Jesus. She feels privileged to support Fr Rob and the team through her gift of singing and was honoured to perform Fr Rob's new release Dominoes at ACYF in front of thousands. Currently studying at the Melbourne Australian Institute of Music (AIM), Claudia is continually looking forward to what the future holds after being challenged by Ps. Brian Houston of Hillsong that "the best is yet to come".
Jason is a professional musician and teacher (aka Mr G) who has toured alongside Fr Rob since 2011. Jason has travelled many parts of the world with Fr Rob and can tell you that keeping up with him in an airport is an achievement in itself! Having worked for over 20 years in the music industry, Jason’s journey has seen him shift from being a session musician/songwriter in Melbourne’s music scene to working with young people in Catholic Education as a Music and Religious educator. Jason has been involved in the music ministry at Notre Dame College and St Brendan’s Parish for over a decade and has mentored many young people in their experience of God. He also accompanied Fr Rob on stage at the very first Stronger Rally when the band was a very humble duo. Jason has enjoyed his time with the FRG Ministry team, is of proud it’s young members, and is excited about what is ahead.
